Wines

Our production is small, 7,000 bottles of red wine and 2,000 bottles of white wine. These wines are not marketed outside the Alqueria. We have a low output,  but high quality product – a ‘Vigiriego’ white wine and a red wine (matured for 12 months in the barrel).

Our wines are for sale exclusively from the Alqueria de Morayama and from the restaurant Mirador de la Morayma in the Albayzin, opposite the Alhambra in Granada.

RED WINE MORAYMA

Growth: 11 months in barrel

Grape varieties: Tempranillo (51%), Syrah (30%), Cabernet Sauvignon (5%), Merlot (15%) y Cabernet Franc (5%)

Alcohol: 14%

Characteristics: Colour, intense dark picota. Aroma of black currant and licorice.

WHITE WINE MORAYMA

Grape varieties: 100% Vigiriega

Alcohol: 12%

Characteristics: Colour, golden yellow. Recommended serving temperature 8 -10 degrees centigrade.
