The Library

At the Alqueria we have always wanted to have a special place to house our ‘Alpujarra Collection’. Here in the Library, surrounded by antique glass fronted cases which contain a lifetime’s collection of books and  memorabilia  dedicated to the social, economic, cultural and physical life of the Alpujarra  Granadina, we can read and relax.  Here we have brought together  books, diaries, travelogues, maps, guides, articles and memoirs – over the centuries, from Alpujarreños all over the world.
